TFM are delighted to have been named Store the Year at the National SQP Awards in London in November 2025.  The SQP Awards are run by Over the Counter trade magazine to recognise those of us trained to prescribe parasite medicines for animals.  On a national platform we were delighted to receive this award, especially as this year the two previous awards of Independent Store of the Year and Store of the Year were combined, so Team TFM were competing nationally against chain stores and independents.

We are very proud that we have 11 qualified SQP/RAMA’s of our Team!

This was so deserved and we are very pleased to announce that Lynn, was awarded Customer Service Award at the National SQP Awards November 2025.

Absolutely blown away that we received this award for the third time.  For a small, independent family business our Team have proved again that we can compete and win on a national scale.  Thank you to Over the Counter magazine and all the judges for awarding us with Independent Store of the Year 2024.

In 2020, Michelle joined us having previously been involved in Fecal Worm Egg Counts at Bransby Horses as well as part of her Batchelor of Science, Equine Science degree.  She brought the training and skills to TFM and developed the Lab.  We now have four SQP Qualified members of the team, all with Science degrees running the lab.

Team TFM are delighted to announce they were awarded Independent Store of the Year 2021 for the second time.  This photo depicts Frank Harris, the Managing Director who sadly passed away in 2023 along with his daughter Nikki.

Nikki was delighted to be awarded National SQP of the Year Award for her Companion Animal qualification.  Competing with all other entered SQP’s working in vets, independent stores and national chains.

The Team were also delighted to be runners up in the Independent Store of the Year Award 2019.

Wow, when we entered TFM Country Store into the 2018 National SQP Awards, we didn’t expect to walk away as Winners.  So honoured that all our work has been recognised.  Our amazing team is well trained and put themselves forward for training and qualifications including dog and equine nutrition, accredited hat and body protector fitters, trained dog harness fitting as well as many staff with related qualifications (including several at degree level) so we are over the moon that this has been recognised on a national platform.
